​Dream Creations Event Planning

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Dream Creations was founded in 2016 by Jaclyn Pheasant on the basis of turning your dream into a reality.  It all started during a dinner conversation with my husband.  My husband said to me, “If you could open your own business, what would you do”?  Without any hesitation, I replied, “Event/Wedding Planning”.  That was as far as that conversation went.  Approximately six months later, I was given the opportunity to take a wedding planning course through WVU and obtain my certification as a Certified Wedding Planner.  Upon completion of the course, I turned my own dream into a reality and opened my business.    

I graduated from Waynesburg University with my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with the emphasis on Management.  For the last 11 years, my career has been as a Human Resource professional. 

I love being the "go to" person amongst my family and friends when there is assistance needed in planning a birthday celebration, bridal shower, baby shower, etc.  I love even more being a certified wedding planner and having the opportunity to work with so many lovely couples during one of the most important events in their lives.  With the amount of time and dedication that goes into each wedding, it is no wonder by the time the big day is here, I am shedding tears as the beautiful bride walks down the aisle - hey, at that point, she is not just a client, but a friend! 

As I was working on building the foundation for my business, I was given the pleasure of working alongside a well-known and remarkable wedding planner – Misti Sims, Owner of Little Black Dress Events.  It was truly a great experience to learn hands on and gain new skills from the very best!  She has been more than an instructor to me, but a mentor and an inspiration! 

When I am not planning a wedding, I enjoy spending time with my family – my family means the world to me.  I am one lucky gal to be married to my loving and supportive husband, Joe.  I have a son and a daughter that both melt my heart to pieces and bring so much happiness and fun to my life!  I may be from PA, but the WVU Mountaineers have a special place in my heart - I love watching and attending football games!  I also am an avid runner and enjoy participating in local 5K races.  

I am blessed with the opportunities that have been given to me and I thank god daily for giving me this wonderful life!  I pride myself on my customer service and organizational skills, outgoing personality, detail management, and you could call me a perfectionist!
